Our first project with Wilbert was to design and build a trade show exhibit for the National Funeral Directors show in Chicago. The challenge was to create a structure that provided ample surfaces for the display of product information, and would draw people into the center of the exhibit. The design solution was a circle within a circle concept that had four different entry points. The instinctive nature of the circular shape directed traffic inward providing exposure to the various information stations radiating outward along tangential lines. A stage was erected at one end of the exhibit for Second City improv performances. The exhibit won two consecutive Best of Show Awards.

Having achieved overwhelming success with their custom-designed exhibit, Wilbert came back to Triad for a second exhibit project. This time they wanted something lighter, easier to ship and faster to set-up. The Triad solution was an exhibit that featured crescent-shaped fabric panels supported by aluminum struts. This is a more flexible exhibit allowing for various configurations and floor sizes. Once again, the exhibit proved to be a success winning a First Place Award at the National Funeral Directors Show. Triad is currently in the process of developing new graphics for the light-weight fabric and aluminum structure. This will complete a four year cycle of Triad providing Wilbert with trade show exhibit design and build services.
